Fresno Brownie Troop Earns Badges from Visit to Museum

The weather was perfect with some snow still remaining from our most recent storm. Most of the girls had never been to Shaver before and loved the snow, collecting pinecones and sticks while  also  looking for deer tracks. Their leader, Candice Blair, began the day talking about “letter boxes”. She spoke about what a “letter box” was and how they were used . Then the  girls were set out to find a special  hidden letter box. After the thrill of a hunt each girl was able to do some exploring nearby. After lunch with their leader Ms. Blair, and the museums volunteers , Meg Tallberg,, Meri Rasmussen and Terry Ogden the troop enjoyed a tour of the museums  Mack truck, caboose & powerhouse. The girls of the troop showed excitement about the things they saw and learned, and a good time was had by all….
