Summer Children’s Crafts

Because our summer children’s craft project was such a huge hit last summer we decided to offer it again this summer.  Shirley Kepler and Judy Statler are the coordinators for the program and they have been busy preparing the projects.  There will be two activities.  One will be the construction of a Stellar Blue Jay out of paper and then attach it to a stick to imitate flight.  The other will be the construction of a Native American necklace.

So many children participated last summer that we are asking for volunteers to supervise the activities, especially when special events take place, such as the Ice Cream Social.
