WInter Closing Reminder

December 8, 2014 8:33 pm Published by Leave your thoughts imgres Sunday, December 14th, will be the last day of this season that the museum will be open. It has been a great year at the museum, one full of great memories, from “Steam ups” with our Sierra Steamers running our Steam Donkeys, to Powerhouse demonstrations. Our marvelous ice cream social, interesting Sierra Voice Presentations, and a grand Friday in the Pines Concert Series. Tours ran daily of our outside exhibits including our SJ&E caboose, our Mack truck and wonderful nature guided walks. our PEP program (Partnership in Education Program) has successfully grown to now include both 4th and 8th graders. The museum thanks our great volunteers, docents, and v.e.s.t members, staff, Board Members and Trustees. It’s our visitors that made us successful, so we tip our hats off to you! Happy Holidays, and please know next year will be even better, so check our website for our future events and next seasons opening date.
